Victory Baptist Church Winnipeg
Victory Baptist Church focuses on loving people. No matter who you are, where you are from, or what you believe, you are welcome in our church any time, and we’ll save you a seat.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
Victory Baptist Church began without a pastor in 1994. Pastor Archie Dyck came to Victory after being an associate pastor in California, originally from Plum Coulee, Manitoba, & shepherded Victory for more than two decades. The church has grown & seen God’s blessing over the years, & in 2016 welcomed Pastor Jerome Pittman as associate pastor. When Pastor Dyck retired in 2018, Pastor Pittman stepped in to fill that role. Victory continues to strive toward serving & loving others, both in Winnipeg, Manitoba & around the world through our missions & outreach ministries.
Pastor Archie Dyck was the senior pastor at Victory Baptist Church for more than 24 years before retiring in 2018. His energy, excitement, and love for people characterized his ministry.
Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.
Above all, we believe in Salvation: The only way to Heaven is through Jesus Christ.
We believe in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit
We believe in the Lord's supper, and in His people taking communion together.
We believe that the Bible teaches baptism is immersion.
We believe in the New Testament church, and in joining the New Testament church.
We believe in sharing the good news. Christ desires to save each and every heart.
